Your contributions to Grassroots help us continue our advocacy for a safer world...

Grassroots Environmental Education is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization with a mission to educate the public about the links between common environmental exposures and human health and to empower individuals to act as catalysts for change within their own communities.

  • Pesticides has always been a core issue for Grassroots, and this year we continued our effort to protect people, pets and the planet from these hazardous, toxic chemicals.

  • This year we continued our efforts to alert the public to chemical exposures from fracking, classify radioactive fracking waste as hazardous, and oppose the expansion of pipelines throughout the Northeast.

  • Green Street News, our New York radio show, has grown into a nationally syndicated half-hour news program and podcast, with compelling stories about environmental exposures and human health impacts.

  • We continued our educational outreach on wireless radiation with expanded websites and materials, national webinars, social media posts, and meetings with local and federal officials.

  • Grassroots provided expert speakers to a wide array of schools, educational meetings and conferences, including environmental lectures for students at Stony Brook and Adelphi Universities and CUNY Hostos.

  • The latest version of Helping to Heal, Patti Wood's book for parents of children with life-threatening illness, is now shipping to partner hospitals and Ronald McDonald houses across the country.

Thank you for Supporting Grassroots Environmental Education.

Your donation will allow us to continue this important work in 2023.
