The Dodge Family Homestead Farm is a historic landmark in Port Washington, New York, the town where Grassroots has its home office. Over the past ten years members of our staff and volunteers have cultivated and managed a small organic farm where we grow vegetables for the local food bank and for the Port Washington Organic Farmers' Market which Grassroots founded and manages.

 

We greatly appreciate the assistance of our farm managers and our local high school and college volunteers who keep the farm looking great all season! If you'd like to volunteer at the farm, please call our office during business hours and we'll find a way to put you to work!
