Dr. Audrey Blumberg Dr.. Blumberg is the Senior Associate Provost for Academic Affairs at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY. She is the former Dean and Director of the Office of Institutional Research and Analysis at the City University of New York. Ms. Blumberg holds a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh, an M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. from the City University of New York. Mr. Samuel Burruano Mr. Burruano is a Certified Public Accountant and a senior partner in the firm of Burruano, Dolan, Glaser and Traynor LLP, with offices based in Armonk, NY and Stamford, CT. Mr. Burruano is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the NY State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. William C. Cooke Mr. Cooke is the Director of Government Relations for Citizens Campaign for the Environment, and the former pesticide project coordinator for Audubon New York. He serves as Chairman of the Albany County Water Quality Coordinating Committee and is a member of the NYS DOH Research Science Board Committee. Mr. Glenn Kaufman Mr. Kaufman is the President of the Kaufman Family LLC in New York, a family investment office. He holds BSE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA degree from the Wharton School at the University. Mr. Kaufman was an early pioneer and recognized expert in wireless messaging and in social networking, and built and sold technology-related companies. Dr. Leonardo Trasande Dr. Trasande serves on the faculty of the NYU School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, and also holds appointments in Environmental Medicine and at the Wagner School of Public Service. He is a member of the Board of Scientific Counselors at the Centers for Disease Control. Dr. Trasande is a former health policy advisor to Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. Dr. Lucy Rockefeller Waletzky Dr. Waletzky is a practicing psychiatrist and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Waletzky has served as a board member of the National Audubon Society and the Memorial Sloan- Kettering Cancer Society. She currently serves as Chair of the New York State Council of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. Ms. Michelle Walrath Michelle Walrath is the founder and executive director of the Walrath Family Foundation, which is dedicated to having a positive impact on our environment and furthering awareness of conservation and sustainable practices. Michelle holds a masters degree in elementary education and an undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond, where she was a double major in health and women's studies. Mr. William Weininger Mr. Weininger is a graduate of Duke University Law School and served as a criminal prosecutor in the district attorney's office in Brooklyn. He has been in private practice for the past twenty-five years and currently practices law in White Plains. Mr. Weininger is active in the Solomon Schecter School of Westchester and the Making Headway Foundation in Chappaqua. Ms. Patricia Joyce Wood Ms. Wood is a visiting scholar at Adelphi University where she lectures on environmental exposures and related health issues in the School of Nursing. Ms. Wood also works with the Environmental Health Division of the New York State Department of Health producing public information materials and serves on the Governor's Advisory Council on Sustainability and Green Procurement. Ms. Wood is the co-producer of the documentary film "Our Children at Risk," which explores the latest scientific research linking environmental toxins to children's health problems. She is the author of "The ChildSafe Guidelines" and "The ChildSafe School," which promote and provide a framework for a comprehensive approach to reducing environmental toxins in schools, and "Helping to Heal," a book for parents of children with life-threatening illnesses. Mr. Douglas Wood Mr. Wood is a composer, filmmaker, author and music publisher. He is the former director of the Production Music Association and the Professional Composers of America. He sits on the Board of Directors of the 250,000-member American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) and also serves on the Board of the ASCAP Foundation. Mr. Wood is the Associate Director of Grassroots. |
